Vogue: Huge Hollywood Stars Without a Cover

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on the cover of the April issue of Vogue. Their photo on the largest U.S fashion magazine created quite a stir on social media when the cover photo was released over the weekend.  Many Vogue readers were upset at the choice of West and Kardashian on the cover and I began researching high profile celebrities that have never been on the cover. There have been many actresses, singers and models that you won’t believe haven’t made the cut!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Amy Adams: This gorgeous lady has had an amazing year in movie roles.  She gave a performance of a lifetime in American Hustle, where she wore some beautiful low-cut gowns for her character, Sydney Prosser.  We would love to see her on a cover!

2. Miranda Kerr: It’s hard to believe this famous model has never graced a cover, but it is true.  She has been many magazines for her beloved off-the-runway style and has been featured inside Vogue, but never on the cover.

3. Heidi Klum: She has been modeling for over 20 years and walked in more fashion shows than we can even count, but this flawless mom of four has never been featured on a Vogue cover.

4.Sofia Vergara: This spicy Columbian beauty would make a lovely choice for a Vogue cover! She has been in many TV shows, movies and advertisements, and her curvy figure would look great on a cover!

5. Zoe Saldana: She is a Latin beauty has been in big movies over the years and has a perfect face for a cover! She has already made the cover with fellow fashion magazines such as, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour.
6. Jennifer Garner: This hot mama has been on the big screen since 2001. In addition to her constant stream of movies, she is also an ambassador for Save The Children. She would be a perfect role model to put on a cover!

7. Tyra Banks: She has been modeling since the age of 15 and created an empire with her Tyra Banks brand name.  She has established a program for young girls for leadership development and also created a scholarship for African-American girls education. What a perfect cover model!

8. Victoria Beckham: It’s crazy to think this former Spice Girl turned fashion designer has still yet to nab a cover.  This style icon has been on top of the fashion trends for years and created an amazing fashion line worn by many famous stars.  Give her a cover already!
9. Carrie Underwood: This country songstress is currently working on her fifth studio album and has toured all around the world in her music career. If you are a fan of country music, chances are you have looked up to her sweet southern style! Vogue could use this southern belle on their cover!

10. Lupita N’yongo: This always glowing African-American actress has had an outstanding career in acting.  She has been nominated for numerous awards for 12 Years A Slave and won an Oscar for her role as Patsey.  She has also been on the top of every Best Dressed list during this award season! Hopefully we will see a Vogue cover in her future!!

  1. This is a very eye opening article. I think it really goes to show that sometimes what we think makes a celebrity a "big name" is not always how it works out. People like Tyra Banks, Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner are among some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry and have never covered on Vogue. It really puts into perspective the difference between celebrities who are best known for their work and celebrities who are best known for their time in the media's eyes.
