Oscar Fashion Round-Up

Sunday night at the Oscars, the creme-da-la-creme of cinema came out for the award show of the season! The most notable fashion choices of the night were the colorful suits and the prominent color trends of navy and white.  Many of the actors and actresses had a slam dunk for their fashion picks and I did you the favor of compiling them all into this lovely blog post!

Lupita Nyong’o

The 12 Years A Slave actress paired her first Oscar win with this amazing light blue Prada gown.  The cut and color look flawless on her super toned body, and a headband is the perfect finishing touch!

Olivia Wilde
Wilde may be 8-months pregnant with her first child, but that didn’t stop her from picking out a stunning black Valentino gown for last nights show! She looks gorgeous on the red carpet pairing her dress with earrings and a white clutch.

Sandra Bullock
The Gravity star looked so elegant in the silk navy Alexander McQueen gown! Bullock may have missed her ‘Best Actress’ Oscar, but we love this look from head-to-toe!

Amy Adams
The American Hustle star looked incredibly chic in her custom navy Gucci Premiere gown and simple jewelry.  Adams was dressed perfectly for a ‘Best Actress’ win, but the award went to Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine!

Kate Hudson
The blonde beauty chose a plunging champagne colored gown from Versace Atelier. The gown was worn with a cape and open back for an old Hollywood glam red carpet look.

Chris Hemsworth
The hunky movie star looked incredible in this burgandy three-piece suit! Hemsworth was one of the many actors who chose to add a little color to their traditional award show suits and I 100% approve! Nice job, Thor!

Kevin Spacey
The ‘House of Cards’ actor looked extremely dapper in this navy blue tuxedo by Burberry.  Navy was a popular color for the Oscars and this is a great way to spice up the traditional black tux!

All in all, the Oscar red carpet choices were a great success! The award show was hosted by Ellen DeGeneres for the second time in the last seven years and gathered around 43 million viewers Sunday night.  Highlights from the show include musical performances by Pharell, Pink, and U2, a pizza delivery mid-show and a legendary selfie that was re-tweeted 1.5 million times and counting!
